10 charities in 10 months celebrates 10-year anniversary

Security National Bank of South Dakota has wrapped up a 10-month charitable celebration of its 10-year anniversary.
Beginning on the 10th of each month, the bank collected donations for nonprofit organizations chosen by employees.
The response was overwhelming, bank leaders said.
“It was our pleasure and privilege to partner with these charities by collecting needed items to support their outreaches. Throughout the journey, we made new friends and built life-long relationships,” operations officer Robyn Hansen said.
The charities supported were:
- Sioux Falls Area Humane Society – April 10.
- Feeding South Dakota Food Pantry – May 10.
- The Teddy Bear Den – June 10.
- Lunch is Served – July 10.
- The Compass Center – Aug. 10.
- LifeScape – Sept. 10.
- Veterans Services Center – Oct. 10.
- Salvation Army Angel Tree – Nov. 10.
- Volunteers of America, Dakotas – Dec. 10.
- Make-A-Wish South Dakota – Jan. 10.
