Acreage near Lake Alvin tops sales report at $1.1 million

The most expensive home sale for the week of Sept. 9 was an acreage west of Lake Alvin that sold for $1,115,000.
The five-bedroom, five-bath home has 4,500 square feet and features a 21-foot ceiling. The 5.7-acre property includes an insulated shop building.
