All Day Cafe closed for remodeling
June 26, 2018
All Day Cafe is scheduled to reopen Friday with a new look inside.
The restaurant at the Western Mall is owned by WR Hospitality, which opened it in late 2013.
Work this week will open up the interior, removing the designated coffee area and relocating the barista space behind the main bar.
That will allow the dining room to stretch the length of the restaurant up to the windows and open up the room, according to WR president Don Anderson.
The floor will be replaced with tiles, and new seating and light fixtures will be added.
The menu won’t change but has steadily evolved to put more of an emphasis on dinner, Anderson said.
“We’d like to be recognized for some of the entree talent we have and go after a little more dinner business. We have a lot of regulars for breakfast and lunch and are growing our night business, and this will give it a much nicer atmosphere for that,” he said.
Neighboring restaurant Taphouse 41, which is also owned by WR Hospitality, will stay open throughout construction.
