Bloomberg: ‘Sioux Falls can teach U.S. about growth’

Oct. 3, 2018

“Sioux Falls is undeniably booming,” writes Justin Fox, an opinion columnist covering business for Bloomberg.

“What’s up with that?”

In a piece circulating online that landed on the Drudge Report today, the Bloomberg story explores why the Sioux Falls economy is thriving despite a lack of a major university or oil-driven growth elsewhere in the Dakotas.

It notes the Sioux Falls metro area population has increased 13.5 percent since 2010.

“Lots of city leaders around the country must wonder how they can capture some of that Sioux Falls magic,” Fox writes.

He visited Sioux Falls to find out. Here’s the rest of the story.
