Boss’ Pizzeria & Sports Bar up and running in hotel

The majority of the remodeling work is done, and the new menu is in place for Boss’ Pizzeria & Sports Bar in the Ramada Hotel & Suites.
Boss’ took over the Castaway’s Bar & Grill space in the hotel at 1301 W. Russell St.
The menu is similar to the Boss’ Pizza & Chicken menu. In addition to the full offerings of pizza and chicken, there are calzones, pasta dishes and salads. There’s an extensive offering of appetizers, and the bar has a full liquor license.
Boss’ also offers gluten-free and cauliflower pizza crusts.
Castaway’s had four TVs, but Boss’ has added almost a dozen more to draw people who want to watch sports. High-top tables have replaced most of the regular tables.
Since the restaurant serves hotel guests, there’s also a new breakfast menu that’s served from 7 to 11 a.m. A breakfast buffet also is offered on the weekend.
Boss’ likely will try a lunch buffet to cater to workers in the area and will continue it if volume supports it.
The restaurant is open until 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
