A boutique that focuses on styles for teens and young women has opened on 41st Street.

Loyda Ramos started Fashion Boutique after years of helping her husband, Freddy, with his business, Freddy’s Drywall & Painting.

“Now, I said, I have to do something.”

She is filling her store in the Gilrich I Mall on 41st between Prairie and Walts avenues with trendy styles. Fashion Boutique carries an assortment of summer tops, jeans, pants, dresses, accessories, jewelry and makeup.

“Prices are right in the middle, not too low and not too high,” Ramos said.

The makeup line is Beauty Creation, which “is really nice makeup and not too expensive.”

She’s selling a limited number of shoes, mostly sandals and heels.

Fashion Boutique has a small selection of clothing, shoes and accessories for girls too.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
