Elegant Xpressions Boutique is changing locations in The Bridges at 57th.

The shop, which sells prom dresses, bridal gowns and other wedding attire, started a moving sale in May.

It’s going into the building north of its current location into a space that has been vacant since Tote-Ally Gorgeous Boutique went out of business a year ago. Elegant Xpressions is shrinking from a 5,375-square-foot space to one that’s slightly less than 1,500 square feet.

According to a Facebook post at the end of May, the business planned to move July 1. Remodeling work looks to be almost completed in the new suite. The relocation is expected to happen in August, according to Van Buskirk Cos.

Shop owner Shauna Niedan did not return phone calls to talk about the move.
