Breadsmith picks site for southeast store

May 16, 2018

Breadsmith has chosen a location for its fourth Sioux Falls store.

The new southeast shop will be in a retail center on 57th Street west of Cliff Avenue. It will be next to 9Round, and other neighboring businesses include Papa Murphy’s and Juice Stop, which opened in April.

Franchise owner Susan Patrick announced in April that a third location would open at 26th Street and Sycamore Avenue.

Both sites are expected to open this summer. The new locations likely will open a little later in the morning because the made-from-scratch bread will be delivered from the original location, which does the baking.

Patrick opened that site at 33rd Street and Duluth Avenue more than 20 years ago. She later added a west-side store at 26th Street and Marion Road.
