Daily Clean Food & Drink sets opening, releases menu

Update: The opening date has been delayed to Nov. 26.

Oct. 26, 2018

Daily Clean Food & Drink plans to open Nov. 19 at 69th Street and Western Avenue.

The restaurant will offer natural and organic foods.

There are menus for morning, afternoon, evening and all day.

All-day offerings include several varieties of toast with multigrain Breadsmith bread and a variety of toppings. The Loaded PB&J includes peanut or almond butter, raspberry, granola and agave, while the Bread Zepplin includes house-made hummus, arugula, butternut squash and a balsamic reduction.

The breakfast menu includes oats and granola served with a wide range of toppings, an egg bake made in an edible avocado bowl and a personal-size quiche.

There are build-your-own bowls on the afternoon menu that include vegetables; proteins such as hard-boiled eggs, smoked salmon and buffalo meatballs; sauces; cheeses; and bases such as spiralized zucchini, cauliflower rice and quinoa.

And there are soups, salads and entrees such as salmon cakes and a veggie-packed meatless burger.

The evening menu offers small plates including curried spiced nuts, olives, smoked salmon and cheese curds.

There’s also an extensive coffee and tea menu. Coffee is offered drip, cold brew or “bulletproof.” According to the restaurant’s website, it brews Organic Coffee Co. shade-grown, fair trade coffees, and Cowboy Coffee, roasted using the “Old World” method.

Iced and hot teas are from Two Leaves and a Bud, an organic, fair trade company.

There also are several smoothies, including smoothie bowls, and a beer and wine list that’s coming.

Daily Clean Food & Drink is hiring for all positions including smoothie techs, baristas, customer service, food prep and food assembly. To learn more on how to apply, click here.
