Deadline approaches for EmBe women’s, nursing leadership programs
Oct. 4, 2019
Applicants have until Oct. 21 to apply for two leadership programs at EmBe.
The yearlong Women’s Leadership Program includes a one-day retreat and six training sessions. Participants will develop a personal development plan that includes personal and professional goals and their plan to achieve them.
A mentor will be matched with each participant after the sessions are completed. The mentor will help guide and support the protege through the implementation of her personal development plan. Applicants should be interested in progressing to the next level of personal and professional development.

Another leadership program – a partnership between EmBe and the South Dakota Board of Nursing – also has an Oct. 21 application deadline.
The yearlong Center for Nursing Workforce Leadership Program uses a curriculum designed to empower health care leaders by developing leadership skills that deliver community impact. The participants represent health care in the region and will benefit from connections to business and thought leaders who will help them shape their personal and leadership development.
EmBe runs a similar program in Aberdeen.
