A Dell Rapids children’s store has closed its downtown Sioux Falls location.

Corduroy & Pixie Dust expanded to Sioux Falls as part of the first-floor marketplace in Jones421 earlier this year.

“Our store was doing very well down there, so it was a heartbreaking decision,” owner Heather Ness said. “However we realized to maintain the integrity of our clothes we couldn’t be located so close to restaurants.”

The store continues to operate in Dell Rapids and online. Orders that were scheduled to be picked up in Sioux Falls will be shipped to customers.

Ness said she’s hoping to find a new Sioux Falls location.
