Downtown office building regains restaurant

June 29, 2018

Opening day is here for Myers’ Deli & More’s second location downtown.

The deli in the CNA Surety Building on Reid Street north of 10th Street features the same breakfast and lunch menu as the location in The Carpenter Building on Phillips Avenue. Owner Dan Myers opened that restaurant in February.

The breakfast menu offers specialties such as a croque madame and a cheddar and chive egg bake, omelets and baked goods. The lunch menu focuses on sandwiches featuring Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. There also are wraps, hot dogs, brats, salads and a soup and salad bar.

The new location features coffee, espresso drinks and smoothies, and, unlike The Carpenter location, doesn’t serve alcohol. Myers plans to add a small grab-and-go section, and there’s already a miniature version of the market at the other deli.

Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday for brunch.
