Eat, drink local at 605 Made Night Market

From staff reports

Locally brewed beer and street food with an international twist will be part of drinking and dining options for visitors at the inaugural 605 Made Night Market.

The market, featuring handmade items from about 20 local artists, runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, in the parking lot of Cherapa Place.

Ode to Food and Drink, the restaurant inside Cherapa Place, is coordinating several area breweries to sell beer at the Night Market. Fernson, Hydra and WoodGrain breweries will sell and explain their beer, and other local brewers are finalizing plans to be there.

Additional beer and wine also will be sold.

Come prepared to eat, too.

Food vendors include:

  • Breaking Burrito, featuring burritos, tacos and quesadillas.
  • Big J’s, selling burgers, brats, pulled pork and local sweet corn.
  • Mediterranean-style food from the owners of Boki Gelato.
  • Taqueria Sanchez, selling tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas and las gringas.

In addition, Greens & Spices will debut its Indo-Thai food truck at the event.

The 605 Made Night Market is free and sponsored by The First National Bank in Sioux Falls and Lloyd Cos.
