The general manager of The Empire Mall is leaving for a job in Texas.

Ron Soucie took over for longtime general manager Dennis Gilliam in the fall of 2016.

Soucie’s new job keeps him with The Empire Mall owner, Simon, overseeing multiple properties in Texas.

His last day in Sioux Falls is June 7.
