Fleet Farm debuts Pheasant Flush event in Sioux Falls

Oct. 18, 2019

Fleet Farm has created an event at its Sioux Falls store to capitalize on hunting season.

The new Pheasant Flush event offers speakers and seminars as well as sales on hunting-related items today and Saturday.

The first 500 customers after the store opened at 7 a.m. received a limited-edition 2019 Pheasant Flush hat. Today, there will be a beer tent and food trucks from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Pheasant hunting is a time-honored tradition for families here, which is why we made our store a one-stop shopping experience for hunters to grab everything they need to be fully equipped for a successful day in the field,” said Jon Kollman, general manager of the Sioux Falls store, which opened in May.

Here’s a look at who will be at the event:

  • Hunting expert Melissa Bachman, host of “Winchester Deadly Passion” TV series, will be there from noon to 4 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
  • Mossy Oak field dog and puppy training demos from chief trainer Bill Gibson will be at 3 and 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. Saturday.
  • SportDog representative Scott Kocol will be there from noon to 4 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
