Galaxy Gaming to add virtual reality attraction

Dec. 10, 2019

Galaxy Gaming is adding a virtual reality attraction that’s new to South Dakota.

“As VR continues evolving so will Galaxy Gaming,” said Max Kaftanati, general manager of the business near 41st Street and Interstate 29. “Hologate, the award-winning VR technology, will transport you into worlds only dreamed of.”

Players wear VR headsets and suit up in haptic vests. Depending on the game selected, they either work together or compete for the high score. Up to four people can play at one time.

Galaxy Gaming will begin offering the system in January.

The business moved into its new location at 3120 S. Mayfair Drive in February 2019. It also offers laser tag, gaming stations and VR pods.
