GreatLIFE throwing Pink Party with workouts, breast cancer focus

Oct. 19, 2018

This paid piece is sponsored by GreatLIFE Golf & Fitness.

Get a workout, and learn more about research and prevention of breast cancer at a Pink Party on Oct. 26 at GreatLIFE Woodlake Athletic Club.

Fitness instructors Missy Ragon, Michaela Vigants and Natasha Wohlwend will lead the two-hour event starting at 5:30 p.m.

It’s free for members, but donations will be taken for the Save the Ta-tas Foundation for breast cancer awareness and research. The event is for men and women.

“We’ll be breaking down the evening between Insanity workouts and Zumba workouts, as well as taking breaks to learn more about breast cancer,” Vigants said. “So don’t worry about getting too tired, but be ready to sweat.”

In between workouts, participants will learn about 3-D mammograms, breast cancer screenings and the importance of overall breast cancer research.

“Be sure to wear pink,” Vigants said. “We will be offering a prize for best dressed, and we hope to see you there.”
