GreatLIFE to hold grand opening for Harrisburg fitness center

It has been open only a matter of weeks, but it’s already clear Harrisburg loves GreatLIFE.
Since the new fitness center opened at 620 N. Cliff Ave., members have been taking advantage of one of GreatLIFE’s largest locations, with some features you won’t find anywhere else.
“It’s a lot closer to home. I can sleep in and just go down the street,” said Alvin Corado, who quickly has become a regular there.
He’s a fan of the trainers and the tools GreatLIFE provides, including the new Recovery Lounge in Harrisburg.
“All the trainers available are all very supportive and willing to help out,” he said.
Corado joined GreatLIFE two years ago because he and his wife appreciated being able to take their three kids to GreatLIFE child care and work out together.
“I would absolutely recommend GreatLIFE because they provide so many facilities: 24-hour facilities, facilities with day care. It gives you a way to not make an excuse not to go to the gym,” he said. “There’s always ways to make it to the gym, so it helps you keep motivated and keep on your goals.”
The fitness center is the latest addition to the growing Harrisburg community, which was recognized this fall with the Community Innovation award by the Lincoln County Economic Development Association.
At that time, Mayor Julie Burke-VanLuvanee mentioned the new fitness center as a significant addition for the community.
“The momentum is still there. We still have developers ready to get in. The addition of GreatLIFE is insane, and it’s not just from a building perspective,” she said. “I think people are starting to stay in our community and realize it has things to offer and things as a family that you can do.”
Stop out at GreatLIFE’s new Harrisburg location for the grand opening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 7. There will be food, fun, special deals on Hypervolts and Recovery Lounge memberships, plus a great offer on personal training packages.
