Silverstar Car Wash, which is based in Sioux Falls, has opened its 11th location in the market.

The car wash at 4410 W. Crossroads Place — on the southeast corner of 12th Street and Interstate 29 — will serve the growing west side of town, plus offer easy access on and off the interstate.

To celebrate, Silverstar is offering a first month of unlimited membership for $1 for members who sign up at the new location.

Additionally, a percentage of all sales in August at Crossroads will benefit the Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment.

“We know our customers appreciate getting the best wash with Silverstar. Our new location will make that even easier for customers while also supporting the work of the Center for Prevention of Child Maltreatment,” said Will Bell, Sioux Falls regional manager.

CPCM is the first organization to join local, tribal, state and federal efforts in the fight against child sexual abuse and other forms of maltreatment in South Dakota.

“We’re grateful for Silverstar’s support as we work to end child abuse and create resilient families and communities across South Dakota,” executive director Carrie Sanderson said.

“The work of CPCM and our partner organizations is changing and saving lives every day, and with Silverstar’s support, we’re able to keep growing that impact.”

Silverstar has 20 locations in four states, with many more under development.

That includes a strategic focus on the Fargo market, where this month Silverstar will open its second location and there are four more in various stages of construction.

“We believe Fargo offers a similar opportunity to offer customers a convenient way to keep their vehicle looking spotless at a great value,” said Andrea Vetos, Silverstar’s operations director.

“We’ve already seen Fargo drivers respond enthusiastically to our membership and are excited to grow there and in many other markets.”
