Sioux Falls-based Hegg Hospitality Management LLC has been selected to manage The Kindler Hotel, a 38-room luxury hotel being developed in Lincoln, Neb.

The Kindler, which will be a first-of-its-kind property for Nebraska’s capital, is part of a major downtown redevelopment estimated at $10 million.

The seven-story hotel will incorporate local art and history, including restoration of windows and dramatic 25-foot ceilings. Amenities will include high-thread-count sheets, robes and slippers, in-room minibars, rain showers and spa access.

“This hotel has such a unique and attractive concept – one that really piqued our interest,” said Ronette Hegg, vice president of hospitality development. “Our team is looking forward to providing Kindler guests with top-notch, personal customer service – the kind that mirrors the luxury class of this hotel.”

The reception area will include an indoor and outdoor lounge, wine bar and wine cellar, in addition to a restaurant and commercial space planned on the second floor.

Construction is scheduled to start in May, and the hotel is planning to open next summer.
