The Hy-Vee store at 26th Street and Sycamore Avenue is the newest location for Wahlburgers.

The store replaced its Market Grille with the burger-driven concept by executive chef Paul Wahlberg and celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg.

It’s the 60th Wahlburgers in a Hy-Vee store and the second in Sioux Falls, joining the location at 26th Street and Marion Road.

“It’s been a great response on the west side, and we’re hoping to have an even greater response on the east side,” said Chad Dyhrkopp, district store director. “It’s one more reason to come and enjoy the Hy-Vee experience.”

Wahlburgers is the nation’s fastest-growing burger concept, he said.

The menu at Hy-Vee includes nearly the entire selection found in the standalone restaurants, with appetizers, a dozen burger options, chicken and fish sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, bowls, a kids menu and cupcake-blended shakes.

“The menu is amazing,” Dyhrkopp said. “It’s a little different concept than almost any food we have in Sioux Falls.”

The bar will still be open and serve beer and wine.

Hy-Vee will continue to serve breakfast in the restaurant space from 6 to 11 a.m. weekdays and from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends, when there will be some crossover with Wahlburgers.

Wahlburgers hours will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Hy-Vee also owns and operates six standalone full-service Wahlburgers.
