Jersey Mike’s Subs is planning to come to Sioux Falls.

The national sub chain has looked at the market for several years.

“We think Sioux Falls is an excellent market for Jersey Mike’s Subs,” said Josie Capozzi, vice president of franchise relations. “We hope to be there in the near future.”

No franchisee has been announced, but representatives of the restaurant chain have been looking at locations in Sioux Falls, according to several area brokers.

Jersey Mike’s Subs is based in New Jersey and has more than 1,000 locations. Its signature sauce is a blend of red wine vinegar and olive oil. Meats and cheeses are sliced fresh.

The menu includes hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, salads and chips.
