Little Caesars has opened in south Sioux Falls.

The pizza chain leased a 2,500-square-foot end-cap at 85th Street and Minnesota Avenue in a retail center next to OrangeTheory Fitness, SafeSplash Swim School and Urban Chislic.

This is the fourth location in Sioux Falls for Little Caesars franchisee Derek Kothe.

“Little Caesars was attracted to 85th Street by the busy retail activity in the area as well as the surrounding established neighborhoods,” according to Ryan Tysdal of Van Buskirk Cos., who brokered the deal.

“It’s also a way for Little Caesars to serve the Harrisburg community, which is just 2 miles south.”

The retail development also now is fully leased, as a wireless store has committed to a 1,900-square-foot space between Starbucks and Code Ninjas.

“Watching the growth in the south part of the city over the last half-dozen years has been astounding,” Tysdal said. “It all started with Walmart.”

And more development is on its way.

Tysdal and Raquel Blount of Lloyd Cos. are co-brokering the former Landscape Garden Centers site at 81st Street and Minnesota Avenue. More information about the development is expected soon.
