It’s getting closer: Look’s Market will close its store at 69th Street and Western Avenue on Sept. 28 ahead of opening its new marketplace.

Once the doors close at 7 p.m., all attention will shift to the new building, which will greatly expand the Look’s offerings.

The owners are transforming the 17,000-square-foot former Callaway’s along Prairie Green Golf Course into Look’s Marketplace, which will still include the Look’s retail store and meat counter but will add a brewery, sit-down dining, bakery and other features.

An opening date will be announced soon, the business said. It’s expected to be sometime in October.

The former Look’s space is available for lease.
