Amy Buss has more than 20 years of HR management and director experience, including positions with DakotAbilities, Children’s Home Society and Vast Broadband. She is certified by the Human Resource Institute as a Professional in Human Resources.

Melissa Tordoff has served as a nursing home administrator with The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society for the past 20 years. In that position, she has had responsibility for human resources, finances, facilities and patient care, as well as ensuring compliance with federal and state nursing home regulations.

Lisa Moeller to loan specialist. She has worked at the organization since April 2022.

Jenny Skinner to closing officer. She has been on staff for nearly two years and 22 years of banking experience.

Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce has announced its annual awards that are presented at the Sioux Empire Livestock Show.

Farm Family of the Year: Jordan and Samantha Scott. The Scotts grow corn and soybeans on their farm near Valley Springs. Jordan Scott grew up on the family farm and began working in partnership with his father, Kevin, seven years ago. He is involved in advocacy for the ag industry and recently joined the board of the American Soybean Association. The Scotts have two sons, Lincoln and Dane.

Agribusiness Citizen of the Year: Julie Hammer of the Sioux Empire Fair Association. She has been volunteering with the chamber’s Sioux Empire Livestock Show for more than 20 years. She and her husband, Greg, run a cow/calf operation near Baltic.

Zach Bauer has been promoted to marketing director at Reliabank. Bauer has been with the bank for almost three years.

Mark Broders has been named as a tax partner of RSM US LLP. Broders has been with the firm for 13 years and will continue serving as the leader of the Sioux Falls tax office.
