A new fundraiser from Girl Scouts – Dakota Horizons combines the Scouts’ iconic cookies with celebrity chefs and beer and wine sampling.

Cookies, Corks & Brews will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at Icon Lounge + Event Hall.

It’s an interactive event where guests will learn more about the Girl Scouts’ programs while enjoying jazz music, appetizers, live and silent auctions, plus a celebrity chef competition using Girl Scouts cookies.

There also will be wine sampling from Dakota Falls Winery and beer from Fernson Brewing Co.

Tickets are $50 and include a flight of beer or wine and food; $30 of the ticket price is considered a tax-deductible gift. Tickets can be purchased by visiting gsdakotahorizons.org/ccb or calling Sara Weinreis at 800-666-2141.
