MetaBank has hired three staff members:

Sarah Mettler as director of product analytics. Mettler will be responsible for reporting key business analysis for products and pricing. She has 15 years of financial industry experience and has held finance positions at Premier Bankcard and Sanford Health.

Keith Sexe as a portfolio administration manager. Sexe will handle all consumer credit portfolios and their administrative functions, including management of the retail bank’s consumer credit products. He has a background in consumer credit products, with experience in the home construction loan and mortgage industries.

Travis DeWitt as a test analyst. He will be responsible for quality improvements for Meta products and solutions. DeWitt previously was an intermediate associate IT business analyst for Citibank.

Natalie Story

Brittany Kelley Elsasser

MetaBank has promoted two staff members:

Brittany Kelley Elsasser to director of investor relations. Elsasser will be responsible for educating and updating the financial community about Meta Financial Group. She has been a Meta employee for nine years.

Natalie Story to assistant vice president. Story, the branch coordinator for the Sioux Falls market, has been with MetaBank for one year. She is responsible for building customer relationships while managing the daily operations of the city’s three branches.

Click Rain

Mason VanEssen has joined Click Rain as an account associate. A recent graduate of Augustana University, VanEssen brings financial marketing and student leadership experience to his new role.

Falls Real Estate

Nick Eichacker and Spencer Wilcox have joined Falls Real Estate as residential real estate agents.

Paramedics Plus

Lorrane Johansen, an administrative supervisor with Paramedics Plus, has received the American Ambulance Association’s Stars of Life award, which recognizes ambulance service professionals for service and dedication. Since beginning her emergency medical services career in Sioux Falls in 1994, Johansen has worked as a paramedic, field training officer, flight paramedic and field supervisor. She serves as Paramedic Plus’ liaison to several rural fire departments in Minnehaha County and serves as the peer coordinator for the Sioux Empire Critical Incident Stress Management team. She also volunteers as a firefighter and emergency medical technician for Valley Springs Volunteer Fire Department.

Thomas Kamnikar

Paulsen has promoted Thomas Kamnikar to digital project manager. Kamnikar, previously lead web developer, has been with Paulsen since 2004.

Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls

Jack Marsh has been named the inaugural recipient of the Lawrence “Larry” Ritz Rotarian of the Year award from the Rotary Club of Downtown Sioux Falls. The retired media and foundation executive is a former Rotary president. He is a community volunteer and serves as president of the boards for Face It Together and the Elimination of Prejudice Foundation. Ritz, one of the longest-serving members in the history of Downtown Rotary, died earlier this year at age 97.

Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation

The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation has two new members on its board of directors: Steve Sarbacker, a partner at Cutler Law Firm, and Suzanne Veenis, the political action committee manager at Poet LLC. Officers are chair Tom McDowell, president of McDowell Financial Group; vice chair Scott Christensen, senior manager/senior vice president of Citibank Financial Control; treasurer Martha Carlson; and secretary Susie Patrick, owner of Breadsmith.
