Papa Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza has added new menu items now that it has settled into its new home at Second and Phillips. The Honey Badger pizza features the restaurant’s new 911 hot wing sauce, mozzarella cheese, Andouille sausage, spicy pepperoni, diced red pepper, red onion, crushed Takis chips and a drizzle of hot honey. Get a grilled chicken sandwich on a Kaiser bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle and a side of mayo. Add sauteed mushrooms and pepper jack cheese for an extra charge. A house salad uses a lettuce mix with tomato, egg, mozzarella and your choice of dressing. Papa Woody’s Smothered Pretza Bites, which are baked in the wood-fired oven, now come in three options. Buffalo features buffalo chicken, mozzarella and blue cheese. Stadium has Stadium cheddar, mozzarella and cheddar with bacon. The original version has pizza sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni. For dessert, try funnel cake fries. They’re dusted with powdered sugar and served with chocolate syrup and strawberry preserves for dipping.
