You’ve heard it before: Becoming more active and eating more nutritiously is a lifestyle, not a quick fix.

But how do you start?

That’s where the GreatFIT Challenge can help. This six-week, $100 program has helped many members lose 20 to 30 pounds and, more importantly, put them on track for sustaining a healthier lifestyle.

“It’s a great way to jump-start your fitness journey,” GreatLIFE director of fitness Nick Ovenden said. “The GreatFIT Challenge equips you with the tools most people need to start to make long-term behavioral changes that help lead to a lifetime of fitness.”

Challenge participants receive one-on-one coaching, group accountability, nutrition coaching and plenty of opportunity to get moving and have fun.

“This is great for those looking to lose weight, those who need accountability and for anyone looking to change up their fitness routine,” Ovenden said.

This session’s nutritional component will go more in-depth, and an online accountability group will help participants stay on track throughout the week.

The challenge starts Jan. 25. Participants can register at any GreatLIFE facility or come to the kickoff at 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at GreatLIFE Woodlake Athletic Club. There are several new locations, days and times for the latest challenge, so to learn more and sign up, click here.
