Speaker to help raise disability employment awareness

An inspirational speaker from Canada will give the keynote address Oct. 12 at an event connected to National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

Chris Koch will speak from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m.

Koch grew up on a small farm and was born without arms or legs. He still works in agriculture but travels and speaks about his life experiences, which include working in the airline industry.

A $25 fee includes admission, breakfast and HRCI/SHRM credits.
