Northwest Sioux Falls: You’re getting a Starbucks.

The coffee shop plans to build a stand-alone location at 5101 N. Annika Ave., which is in front of the Walmart along 60th Street North.

“That Walmart is a high-performing Walmart that services a unique area of our city going to the west,” said Raquel Blount of Lloyd Cos., who represents Starbucks in Sioux Falls.

“You can access it right off I-90, and the housing growth and the development park and apartments in the area, along with Foundation Park not far away, all make it a really exciting site for Starbucks.”

The new Starbucks will be a full-service location at 2,600 square feet plus a drive-thru. It’s being developed by Cresten Capital Holdings.

The plan is to be open in late summer or early fall, Blount said.

It’s the second new Starbucks announced for the west side in recent months. There’s one coming to 41st Street and Ellis Road in late spring or early summer also developed by Cresten.
