Wine Time on Main opens at 3 p.m. today inside Washington Square.

Here’s a look at how the space came together. It was designed by Megan Peterson at The Design House.

A focal point is a mural painted by Kevin Liberko that re-creates a Paul Schiller photograph.

The downtown wine bar offers 183 wines by the glass, along with some beer and soft drinks.

Meat and cheese plates are from a supplier on the East Coast and feature several options not commonly found in the Sioux Falls market.

Hours are  3 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Wine Time on Main is owned by Bob and Cathy Novak, who have a passion for wine and say they’re eager to share it with the Sioux Falls community.
