Order in dinner for the family on a busy or chilly night.

Send lunch to the office for a tasty way to break up the day.

Or just save yourself a trip out and let Turks & Caicos Cabana Grille bring a taste of the tropics right to your door.

The popular restaurant at The Bridges at 57th is the latest option on Food Dudes Delivery, a business with top-notch customer care and quality service.

“We’ve had customers requesting delivery service, and we knew it was time to add it,” Turks general manager Nancy Schmeling said.

“We were doing a lot of to-go orders already, so having the delivery option is really nice.”

It was an easy choice to work only with Food Dudes, she said.

“They’re based regionally, and we have a local contact who works closely with us,” she said. “They have a proven track record and really are dedicated to make sure our customers and our team have a positive experience.”

Food Dudes has worked closely with Turks to launch the service, which runs Monday through Saturday during regular business hours.

“Long before we started delivering any meals, we really sat down with the team at Turks and created a partnership for providing the absolute best experience for the customer,” Food Dudes co-owner Megan Culver said.

A big part of that experience starts with the bag, she added.

“We invest a lot in the quality of our bags, and that’s one reason restaurants are choosing to partner with us – to provide that quality,” she said. “Food items are delivered in a double-lined pack to ensure top quality. We can do hot food on one side and cold on the other, and our bags are generously sized. We can easily fit a large family order in there.”

You can order from Turks & Caicos directly through the Food Dudes platform or from the Turks & Caicos website, which also allows a pickup option.

What to order

Of course, you can order anything on the regular menu for delivery, but the experts at Turks & Caicos shared early customer favorites and their own recommendations.

“We’ve seen several orders for the beef rice bowl,” Schmeling said. “All the pastas also keep their heat really well, so try the pork mac and cheese or chicken fettuccini alfredo, especially as the weather turns toward comfort food.”

For lunch, office orders often include options like the salmon salad, featuring kale, spinach, quinoa, mango, pineapple, avocado and coconut lime dressing.

In the mood for seafood?

“The coconut curry shrimp or the coastal cioppino are great delivery options,” Schmeling said.

A surprise customer favorite: lobster corn dogs.

“We’ve seen tons of that appetizer ordered for delivery,” she said.

“And we’re also selling lots of kids meals. Families love the option for ordering a dinner mom and dad will really enjoy and being able to add on great kids meals with the delivery order. It’s just so convenient.”

Orders are specially packaged to ensure quality. Tacos are wrapped in foil, for example. And orders can easily be customized for customers’ preferences.

Food Dudes can even deliver dessert from Turks & Caicos.

“The desserts have been really popular,” Schmeling said. “Customers love our rotisserie pineapple. And we can even do it with ice cream — delivered.”
