Turks & Caicos Cabana Grille holding hiring event

Turks & Caicos Cabana Grille will hold walk-in interviews several times in coming days.
The new restaurant taking over the former Bracco space will be owned and operated by Vanguard Hospitality, the group that also owns Minervas in downtown Sioux Falls, Grille 26 and Morrie’s Steakhouse.
Interviews for Cabana Grille will be held at Morrie’s, 2507 S. Shirley Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and April 3-5.

The restaurant needs to hire about 50 people, including line and prep cooks, dining room managers, bartenders, hosts and servers.
“We’re looking for professional staff with strength in hospitality, service and high personal standards and accountability,” chief operating officer Tim Meagher said. “This is the same for the front of the house and the back of the house.”
