U.S. Bank opens remodeled branch

April 9, 2021

U.S. Bank has opened its newly remodeled branch at 420 S. Sycamore Ave.

It includes an engagement area for one-on-one consultations along with a refreshed teller line and updated offices with an enhanced level of privacy.

In response to the ongoing pandemic, the branch incorporates design changes focused on protecting the health of customers and employees, including plexiglass barriers and signage to encourage social distancing, the bank said in a statement.

“We are proud of our history in Sioux Falls and excited to welcome the community into our remodeled branch,” said Kathryn Astrup, U.S. Bank district manager. “We believe in powering human potential and can’t wait to show the community how we can help them do just that with our digital tools and our local experts.”

U.S. Bank celebrated the grand reopening by donating $1,000 to the Multi-Cultural Center of Sioux Falls to support its workforce development program and $1,000 to Anne Sullivan Elementary to support teachers and students.

The Sycamore branch originally opened in 1994. U.S. Bank has 13 branches in South Dakota, serving more than 86,000 customers.
