Weller Brothers plans Des Moines expansion

Weller Brothers Landscape Professionals is growing into the Des Moines market.

The Sioux Falls firm plans to expand to Iowa’s capital city this fall.

“We are so excited to bring our high-end landscape architecture, construction and maintenance services to the greater Des Moines area through this expansion,” president and CEO Cole Weller said in a statement.

“The team we have moving to start the branch location are two of our rock stars, and I could not be happier for them to take on this opportunity. Des Moines is an attractive market, especially with all of the growth in the western suburbs. The expansion also aligns perfectly with our strategic growth plan to enter more markets throughout the Midwest over the next five years.”

Weller Brothers is in its 22nd year of business in the Sioux Falls area and in its fifth year of business in Rochester, Minnesota. In both locations, the company provides residential and commercial landscape design and maintenance services.

The Des Moines branch will be managed by Matt and Anna Stadel, who are the landscape production manager and landscape architect, respectively, at the Rochester location.

“We are beyond excited for this new opportunity to grow and develop another location for Weller Brothers. With the great support from our other locations, we have no doubt that we will be able to create an awesome workplace backed by high-quality craftsmanship – both of which are traits of our two current branches,” Matt Stadel said.

The company will begin scheduling landscape design consultations in the Des Moines area in early August with plans to expand into lawn maintenance services within the following year.
