Women on the Prairie Conference to feature inspirational author

Dee Dee Raap, author and nationally known professional speaker from Sioux Falls will be the featured speaker at the 22nd annual Presentation Sisters’ Women on the Prairie Conference on Sept. 23.

Raap’s presentation, Love Makes the Journey Great, covers finding the silver lining in every cloud by counting your blessings. She is the author of four books, a series of inspirational e-books and two free inspirational monthly e-zines. She is a member of the National Speakers Association and has spoken to audiences in 40 states and Canada.

The conference is held at Presentation Convent in Aberdeen. The cost is $15, which includes brunch.

The Presentation Sisters also will hold an event Oct. 21 in Watertown featuring Sister Janet Horstman, immigration legal specialist, who will speak about immigration policy. Keynote speaker Paul Hunter, the first chief meteorologist with Minnesota Public Radio, will speak about climate change.
